Explore the Earth in AR with Star Chart AR
Star Chart AR offers an immersive Augmented Reality experience, allowing you to explore the Earth through your iPhone's screen in real time. The app requires an ARKit compatible device to enjoy its AR modes fully.
Included in the app are AR Earth, showcasing the Earth in real-time for AR viewing, and AR Orrery, which presents the solar system, including the sun, planets, moons, and more (available as an in-app upgrade). Star Chart AR is best enjoyed with ample room and good lighting, ideally outdoors or on a large clear table for optimal viewing.
To interact with the app, move your device in a circular motion to detect a surface, tap to place the AR object, pinch to scale it, and use a two-finger tap to go back. Supported devices include various iPhone models from iPhone 6s onwards, iPhone SE, all iPad Pros, and the standard 2017 iPad model.
